I cleaned the mat in front of the conference room and the floor of the conference room with the vacuum cleaner.

Brendan was able to use 2D Add to combine an ellipse and a circle. He did it by activating one of the snap modes that I left off. I think it was "Nearest on Facet." However, I am still not able to add a circle and a rectangle. The trouble is with the rectangle. When I click on a side of the rectangle, the side is what is selected, rather than the entire rectangle.

August 19: I swept the floor in lab 402, including the room for the fibers, which needed sweeping the most. I also swept lab 405, where I found sawdust on the floor. I continued to study TurboCAD.

August 20: Connecting polylines to rectangles results in better editing behavior than connecting rectangles to other rectangles.

I helped Dr. Jones change the motherboard and processor in one of the computers. We dusted it off after taking it out of the rack and after removing the old motherboard. I attached the connectors for the power LED, the power and reset switches, the speaker, and the hard drive LED.
