My work this summer has been mostly on the following projects:
- Preliminary ethanol fiber tests
- Learning various software via tutorials (LabView, MATLAB, AutoCAD, TurboCAD)
- Learning how to machine components
- Converting 3D models of microscope components into 2D drawings for machining
- Learning how to paint fibers
