February 4th, 2013 - Today was spent doing major cleanup in 405 with Ann Marie, including sweeping the floor, moving dark box materials, and various other tasks to prepare the room for the Jefferson Labs inspection.

February 5th, 2013 - Alex and I began the first construction of the new GPU units. Initial difficulties included the power supplies being too bulky to fit in the case, a power cord being too short to reach the motherboard, and GPU units being far too large for the Riser cards that we currently have. Alex and I fixed the power supply size problem by a simple adjustment of the wiring, which also acted as a support for the power supply to keep it from moving. To make an extension cord we used a four to six and have two empty connectors on the power supply's cord. I am not entirely sure what is being done to fix the problem with the GPU size, however.

February 7th, 2013 - I spent all of my hours today in the first half of the meeting with the Jefferson Labs inspection crew. When I left, I had gone on the tour of the lab, and heard Jim's presentation, at which point I needed to leave for class.
