This is the aligned end.
At the unaligned end, the fibers stick out to different lengths.
Five fibers in a row will fit between the prongs of the bundling tool, and six rows can be stacked before they will reach the open end.
The fibers should pass through all the collars as a 5x6 matrix
The springs are tied to the collars with wires.
At the unaligned end there are two springs.
