March 4, 2013 - I spent today helping Ann Marie with a few things that needed to be done in 405, and then spent the majority of my time double checking Lianna's measurements of the fiber sections to be tested in the alcohol solutions. I remeasured all of the pieces and we should now have an accurate reading to begin testing of the effects of cleaning alcohols on the fibers.

March 5, 2013 - Today Ann Marie and I worked on constructing the dark box for the spools of scintillating fibers near the splicing unit. We cut the cardboard and began assembling it; it needs one more side and a way for the top to have a flap for access to the fibers. In addition, we need to cut holes for the rod that the spools rest on, but these should all be easy finishing touches to the box.
