How to Obtain a Cluster Account

Talk to your research advisor
Have your research advisor contact Alex Barnes (barnes@phys.uconn.edu) requesting an account
You will first receive an e-mail containing your username
A follow-up e-mail will be sent containing the rest of your login information
It is strongly recommended that you change your password
- Once you [link here to the “how to connect” wiki page login through terminal] using the username and password provided type the command kpasswd
- Follow the messages in the terminal window
