Radphi Video Conference 5/20/03
May 20, 2003
University of Connecticut
Storrs, CT
Meeting Agenda:
- Progress on PWA - Indiana
- Progress on BGV reconstruction - Indiana
- Understanding signals in LGD - W&M
- Next steps to NIM paper - W&M
- Shower energy resolution in LGD - UConn
LINKS:
Present: R. Jones, M. Kornicer, D. Steiner, D. Armstrong,
Scot T., D. Krop, Theresa Conway , D. Sober
Dan Krop: PWA progress at
http://dustbunny.physics.indiana.edu/~dkrop/2pi/mom_expand
- hes code to fit all moments finished. He will do a mass dependent
fit with a f0 and sigma.
- He has still not understood completely the problem of the
ambiguity.
T. Conway: she has a nev web page at
http://dustbunny.physics.indiana.edu/~thconway/BGV_page
- she has rescaled the upstream ADC spectra and they lie on top
of each other nicely. The matching has not worked so well fo the
downstream end, but is trying to figure out what to do. They are
shipping 2 modules from Jlab to IU for tests.
D. Armstrong: NIM article
- needs more information on performance. Dave has gone through old
reports and listing things that need to be added. He will send a list
around before the work fest on June 3-4.
Dan Steiner: progres on analysis at
http://www.physics.wm.edu/~steiner/radphi/signals.htm"
- He lookedd at optimum choices for the minimum γ energy cut.
M. Kornicer: Energy resolution in the LGD
http://zeus.phys.uconn.edu/~kornicer/radphi/LGDresolution/#q5"
- He has looked at E resolution in ω->π°γ
and looked at the π°. The energy resolution from the π°
band is systematically higher (worse) than the η. This is probably
due to a contribution from the angular resolution.
Next meeting: during work fest on June 3-4 2003, (Tues - Wed)
