This page starts out asking what limits on the resolution of the topography maps of the diamond wafer are imposed by the distance between the diamond surface and the camera.  The answer to this question should be a length scale, maybe 1 mm or maybe 100 microns, or something.  In the end there is only a statement like, "this is ok".  What is ok?

Can you think of a way to place a lower bound on the resolution that can be obtained if the distance from the diamond to the camera focal plane is 20 cm?  We did not measure that distance, but I think it is probably a good estimate

This page starts out asking what limits on the resolution of the topography maps of the diamond wafer are imposed by the distance between the diamond surface and the camera. The answer to this question should be a length scale, maybe 1 mm or maybe 100 microns, or something. In the end there is only a statement like, "this is appropriate". What is appropriate?

Can you think of a way to place a lower bound on the resolution that can be obtained if the distance from the diamond to the camera focal plane is 20 cm? We did not measure that distance, but I think it is probably a good estimate
