The GlueX experiment requires a diamond radiator to produce a photon beam. UCONN has recently acquired several diamond samples from Sinmat and Element 6 to perform qualifying test.

In May of 2011 the diamonds are being brought to Cornell University for testing at CHESS. This page details the process which will be used to mount the diamonds for testing.
