I therefore need to make major changes to the model I have made. I spent my time making these changes. I also downloaded AUTOCAD in order to edit Jim’s initial drawing of the setup instead of editing it in Paint or Powerpoint.

We drew the setup and made copies of it in order to mark them up with different values for flow rate, pipe diameter, etc. We spent some time trying to find out the temperature of the chilled water line, as this is important to the amount of heat the exchanger can take out. I measured the temperature of the tap water as an estimate; I imagine the chilled water line will be cooler.
