Radphi Conference Call 4/19/02
April 19, 2002
University of Connecticut
Storrs, CT
Present: S. Teige, E. Smith, D. Armstrong, R. Jones, Dan Krop, M. Kornicer.
D. Armstrong:
- unstacking is now almost complete. The CPV is now free-standing in the
alcove and plans are to store it in the Physics Storage building (where
BSD is). The LGD frame and BGV frame will all come out at once during a
"summer" shutdown. Schedule was running May-June and open again in
July-August. Now we are having hardware problems in CLAS, but summer
shutdown is probably invariant.
IU (Dan Krop):
- showed acceptance in invariant mass
and shows acceptance up to 1.4. In the data he sees a flat yield in
m(2pi0) with an edge at the f0(975).
A plan:
- using Adam's moment code
- using PWA code
- go back and understand systematics of Monte Carlo
- Putting together a web site and an initial demonstration tech note on
PWA
D. Armstrong (for Dan):
- still refining split-off reclamation, no progress over last couple
of weeks. Will sit down together before next call and work out a plan.
M. Kornicer:
- still working on PSF code to do clusterization. Then he will try again
to find a functional form for the cluster shape, before going on with
look-up table.
Next meeting:
- Scott is out 5/3-5/24 and 6/2-6/4 in PWA workshop. Elton proposes
6/10-6/12 (User;s Group) might be place to glue on Radphi meeting.
Does not work! Lets do a schedule web page. Idea: 6/28-6/29
- Next call: 5/3
