Radphi Conference Call 3/08/02
March 08, 2002
University of Connecticut
Storrs, CT
Present: Scott, Craig, Dan, Richard, Dan, Mihajlo.
Dan Steiner:
- has no new pictures. He improved the cluster-recombination performance
by using the log-energy weighting. The weighting refers to haw the centroid
is found. The non-linearity correction gets redone after the clusters
are put together.
IU (Dan Krop):
- reports that tagger offsets are in maps. BGV is reasonably balanced
and tdc offsets are going into maps. No need for clustering because veto
is only on tdc value. A +/-15 ns window is used, contains about 100% of
the coincidence, very few randoms. To prevent false veto, two BGV counters
are ignored, +/-1 around pixel. Single pixel and single tagger hit are
required. On good pi0 sample veto rate is 30%. He will write a note.
Mihajlo:
- is working on getting software working. Will post minutes on web and
send around email containing the link.
