This directory contains Zygo images that are useful for calibrating the lateral and vertical absolute scales of the microscope. See below for their meaning. dir x10objective: images taken with the x10 objective lens ------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Intensity images taken of a micron graticle, in various orientations (hor, vert) and at different zoom settings. graticle(0.4hor).tif graticle(0.4vert).tif graticle(1.0hor).tif graticle(1.0vert).tif 2. Zygo images of the top surface of a thick sample, taken with different scan lengths without moving the sample or the head height. These are useful for determining the offsets in the measured z for different scan heights. Each directory listed below contains a coords.crd file containing the stage and head coordinates, and a Zygo file (binary format) stch1.dat containing the image. 100normal10 10normal10 150normal10 20normal10 2normal10 3normal10 40normal10 4normal10 5normal10 dir x2.5 objective: images taken with the x2.5 objective lens -------------------------------------------------------------- 1. 2micron 3micron 4micron 5micron 10micron 20micron 40micron 100micron 150micron 2. Same as above, but for the lower surface of a thick sample. Both this and the previous scans were taken with the phase resolution set to high-2G. 2Lmicron 3Lmicron 4Lmicron 5Lmicron 10Lmicron 20Lmicron 40Lmicon 100Lmicron 150Lmicron 3. Same as above, but for the upper surface of the same thick sample. This run is different from (1) above only in that the phase resolution setting was "normal" instead of "high-2G". The head and stage were not moved during the collection of these scans. 2normal 3normal 4normal 5normal 10normal 20normal 40normal 100normal 150normal
